When Dixie Paper Meets Family History

I thought this commercial was too fun.  (You never know when family history
will be the topic of conversation.)

  1. What a fun commercial! Amazing they could work it into a paper plate commercial. I can work it into most any conversation though too!

    1. I thought it was fun, too, Michelle. I like how the younger family members are teasing the grandparents. There seems to be such rapport amongst all of them. I would be interested to hear how you have brought family history into conversations that weren't headed that way, Michelle.

    2. Oh it seems everything reminds me of something either my ancestors did or something I've read about early history. I think my nose is in it so much, it just naturally goes that way! My kids told me they use to make bets with each other and then would bring up way out topics to see how many sentences it took for me to somehow turn it back to family history! ha ha

  2. Another sign that genealogy is becoming more mainstream. Very clever.

    1. Yes, for sure, Wendy. More and more I see signs of family history becoming of general interest.
