My Siblings on National Siblings Day

For National Siblings Day I wanted to post a photo of my brother, sister, and me together as children.  Can you believe this is the only one I have of all three of us in the same photo?  The only one as children!

Here's a photo collage of us at about the ages in the above photo, including one with our parents.
These are my people, people I love and enjoy spending time with.  I'm the youngest:  there are just over six years between my sister and me and nearly 11 years between my brother and me.  It didn't necessarily make for a smooth childhood, at least for me.  But gosh, we've become good friends and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Happy Siblings Day, Bob and Marsha!

  1. It's not too late to get another one. If you get together with them have someone smap a picture.
I had seven siblings and we didn't have a picture of all of us until I was in my late thirties. There isn't another chance to take more because two are now gone.

    1. Thanks, Jimmie. I don't think I wrote that post clearly. I should have said, "The only one as children." We do have several of us together as adults, thank goodness.
It's sad that two of your siblings are gone. What a sorrow.

  2. I wonder how National Sibling Day ever started. Siblings are certainly worth a celebration! My 3 brothers are the best. Your sibling photos are adorable.

    1. Thanks, Colleen. I hadn't thought about the origins of National Sibling Day so, of course, didn't research to find out, but they're definitely worth celebrating. With three brothers you probably had lots of adventures when you were a child!

    1. My mom told me she only wanted two children, but there I was. In a way it was almost like being an only child.
