It is a good pose. I wondered why the hairnet, though -- whether it was a morning photo, an after-housework photo, or.... It was probably common at the time or for my mom, I don't know which. About those trotters, Wendy. I'm having trouble seeing her shoes - they almost disappear into the grass - but I haven't heard a shoe style described as "trotters" before.
